Everything you read is biased, of course, but Michelle isn't looking so good in the press right now. But does the candidate plan to do the things you want done? The rest of it is malarkey.

If he is speaking your platform, he's the one you should vote for.

If the Republicans are speaking your mind, then vote for them.

The hemming and hawing about "What did she really mean" and "Was it plagiarism?" and, "Is he really a war hero?" and all the catty nonsense that gets trotted out in an election year should mean little. Unfortunately, in our reality TV society, these little cuts mean so much more than they should.

I'm not saying, however, that you should ignore the Che posters. I wouldn't. But I might consider that they were the work of some overzealous campaign volunteers, and look again.

I had hope, when I was younger, that one day I wouldn't have to settle for the lesser of two evils. I feel that way now, for the first time in my adult life (to give some props to Michelle). I will vote for Obama, but I will not cry in my coffee if McCain wins. It is definitely the first time in my adult life that I don't look at the coming elections with despair.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1377385119326285192.post-43481145909406688392008-02-18T06:12:00.000-08:002008-02-18T06:12:00.000-08:00I'm certainly not happy with any of the choices, b...I'm certainly not happy with any of the choices, but I don't think I would vote for Obama. While he says a lot of things that sound good to me, I know better than to apply any significance to what politicians say. And Obama's _very_ short actual record in politics is far-left: the most liberal in the Senate on economic issues, if I remember correctly.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1377385119326285192.post-82216508889242985172008-02-17T12:58:00.000-08:002008-02-17T12:58:00.000-08:00As a wise man once said, politics is deciding whic...As a wise man once said, politics is deciding which bucket of buzzerd puke to drink from.

No kidding. No kidding. I certainly don't foresee any political adverts sticking in my lawn this year.Shawn Powershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15186686711412505957noreply@blogger.com
